What to Paint your Miami Home

This is a sensitive topic for most people.   Studies have shown that the color of your enviroment can have an impact on you.   Your choice of colors is very individual and it says who you are. Unfortunately , the colors that I have in my head and what I end up putting on the walls do not always match up.   There are so many choices and shades of different colors. I find it best to met with a professional and discuss what you like and then walk  through each room.  A professional that knows what colors work best together and why  makes the process easier.  Also each room serves a purpose.  I , myself, like cheery colors , however,  a shade of green may work best in the bedroom since green is considered a ” restful color”

Below will give you an idea what colors can mean to people

1.  Red:  Red is an attention getter.   Red can also improve ones cognitive ability.  It also cause one to pay attention to detail. This may because since we were little the color red could mean danger.

2. Blue:  Blue is a soothing color and seems to be a universally liked  color. However, interesting enough, to much blue can be perceived as cold and unfriendly.  I guess to much of a good thing is not always a good thin.

3. Yellow: Is happy color however to much  yellow can over power a room as can to much red.

When it comes to painting the outside of your house  , then you should check with the  local codes.  For instance, Coral Gables has strict codes on what color you can choose. However,  in Coconut Grove ,pretty much anything goes. Coconut Grove in located in the City of Miami.
