I think at times  we forget where we live and how lucky we are to be living areas like Miami or many of its cities like Coral Gables, Coconut Grove,South Miami , Pinecrest and Miami Beach.  We have sunlight more than 300 days a year and yes it does get hot in the summer ,however, I would rather deal with hot days then freezing ones.

Miami is an internationally well known destination for the very well heeled. You may have noticed some high level homes sales in areas of Coral Gables , Miami Beach and Coconut Grove.  One of the reason is the weakening U.S. currency  which gives most international buyers a built in discount.

The  $ 20 million plus buyers are mainly coming from Russia , Korea , China and Indonesia.   Brazilians are buying condos on Brickell and Miami Beach. And lets not forget the Europeans , Canadians and South Americans.  For most people ,from other lands, look at Miami as a paradise and if they have means they will buy here.

Here are some interesting facts:

60 % of the home sales in Miami Dade cash transactions.

Roustam Tariko paid $25,500,000 for a Miami Beach estate on Star Island

Vladislav Doronin paid $16,000,000 for Shaquill O’Neals  home

There have been also other luxury condos in the The Gables Club in Coral Gables and the Setai in Miami Beach that have set record sales.

Miami is becoming more and more an international venue , thanks to our climate, diverse culture , geographic location and many other things.
