Despite what is happening in the bipolar  stock market and in Europe, sales of single family homes in Coral Gables  has not slowed down. There were 40 closed sales in September.  Six of the sales were short sales and seven ” bank owned” listings  ( The number of ” bank owned” sales is up a bit from previous months). There are 31 pending sales ( Coral Gables homes under contract but not yet closed) 12 of which are short sales and 3 “bank owned” listings. There are currently 335 active listings in Coral Gables. This includes 4 “ bank owned” listings and 23 short sales in Coral Gables.
