Things To Do In Miami #2 Go To Coconut Grove Farmers Market
Every Saturday morning to 9:30 to 7:00 PM on Grand Ave , Glaser Farms sets up an organic famers market. You can also get a message as well. The have a pretty good selection of fruits, veggies , Norri sandwiches, nut butters and ice cream made of nuts ( one of my favorite.) You will see an interesting mix of people from all walks of life. The fruit pies are pretty good as well. As you can see , I struggle with a sweet tooth.
When shopping for your organic food, have patience because the line can move slowly and if you bring your dog ,they will not let you walk him/her inside the tent. If you are a vegan or a vegetarian you will love this place. One downsize is that some of the items can be a bit pricey so watch your wallet or purse or just grab the price list and pace yourself. There is also a few tables where you can sitt and enjoy your meal.
Glaser farms is located in Homestead and they make this trip every Saturday, it is a lot of hard work on their part to unload and the reload the selection they offer. They also have meal preparation class but in Homestead
The Coconut Grove Farmers Market is on Grand ave across the street from CVS Pharmacy.
